How To Identify A Vintage Briggs & Stratton Motor?
I own several, quite old lawn mowers with Briggs & Stratton motors in them, my best guess puts them at, most likely, the mid sixties, but i would like to have some tips on identifying year on such engines.
normally the engine id # is on the rocker cover. but if you have L-head (flat head) motors, likely you'll have to look them up here,
