What kind of air filter would be the best for my Mini Bike?

I have an old late 60's early 70's MTD Mini Bike that i recently got the carburetor fixed on and i am looking for the correct air filter. I put on a filter meant for a lawn mower but it works like a restrictor plate and cuts the power of the bike in half which i obviously don't want to happen. the engine on it is a 5 hp Tecumseh 4 stroke.

UNI-Flow makes a foam sheet for build-it-yourself that works great.
Does take a bit of engineering to start out with but it's washable/reusable once you have it made.
And use a filter-oil on it.

The stock tire size is matched to the transaxle's rated limit. Putting oversize tires on means putting more stress on the tranny. For normal mowing duties this shouldn't be a problem but if you use your machine to plow snow, pull carts or lawn sweepers etc. it will shorten the life of the transaxle. I broke the tranny twice on the same tractor because of mounting large ATV knobbys. I put stock tires back on after the second breakdown.

I have rebuilt engines longer than I care to say, to the best of my knowledge both are 19 HP, the -0219 model is the newer version and should work, it may require a few altercations but I believe it can be done quite easily
