Just as easy. The gearbox you used would have been a "Range Change" ( 4 over 4). Depending on the manufacturer, the layout could be different. Scania & Volvo do a 9 speed - 4 over 4 with "crawler" gear,and a 14 speed - 3 over 3 with a "split gear" + 2 "crawler", ZF a 16 speed - 4 over 4 with split. The hardest part is getting used to the extra gears, you do not need to use all of them. With the newer trucks, a lot of manufacturers are going down the automatic route, some with 2 pedal and some with 3 pedals. I have driven both types, and prefer the conventional 3 pedal layout for slow speed maneuvres as there is normal clutch control, against trying to control with just the throttle. Either way, we are classed as "Professional Drivers" and as such, employers will expect you to be able to drive anything they give you!! - Even Mercedes with the "EPS" gear box.!!

1st off let me say, if it's www.up22.com (unlimited products) stay away from them.. Very poor fiberglass parts, poor fit, finish and very thin..

Now a "pin on hood" means it can not be used with hinges, or latch.. No mounts on hood for hinges, latch, spring, shocks.

You must use pins, or duz fasterns. 4 will not be enough. You will need at very least 6. 2 in front, 2 in back and one on each side.

Unless it's a drag car, I really wouldnt get a pin on hood. More pain and trouble than it's worth.

Spend the little extra and get a bolt on version, or atleast bolt ob rear, pin front version.

I have a 4" cowl harwood hood on my 88 camaro. It's a full bolt on hood, but to save weight, I removed all the front latch stuff and use 2 pins in front, bolted to stock hinges in rear, and using some import car hood gas struts (stock ones or too strong for the light glass hood and can crack it), I took mine off and went to advance auto, The people there know me so they let me look through all the hood/hatch struts they had in stock. I matched up the mounting holes and lenght to a smaller dia one and got 2 of those..
