You first need to base this on the size of the cut area. I guess you are trying to market this cutting technique as a greener way albeit more labor intensive? If your community is receptive to this sustainable practice, you could probably charge more than a gas powered mower. You would really have to considering the extra time invested. Push the marketing as a green solution and develop talking points saying how much you save in gasoline, carbon emissions, etc.

I would not recommend. The mower blade is not designed to do that. Any branch big or small will put dents in the blade and you will have poor cutting performance when cutting grass. Now if you do decide to try this, do small amounts at a time, when done remove the blade and bring it to a small engine shop and have it sharpened or replaced. I hope you don't have neighbors around, they might think your a little crazy.
