My question is if mechanical pump is working why an electric. If mech. pump not working you don't want to hook elect. in line with mech.pump. I have always believed that its better to push fuel than to pull and i think so do G.M. or they would not have put fuel pumps in gas tanks they would have mounted them on the fire wall.. So to answer your question I would mount it along the frame rail just in front of the gas tank.

look man. theres only one way to judge when your air filter needs changed. and thats the climate you live in and or how much time you spend off road but i doubt thats ur case, the only way you can tell is to take the filter out and look for yourself. if the filter is ok then why fix whats not broken right. also check for any intake leaks but with 16k miles i dont think you have a problem there.
