There are bugs inside of my house!?
Me and my friend live in a townhouse together in a nice little community. Our house is only 8 years old and it's very clean inside. About a week ago, landscaping people came and put in new mulch for all the townhouses. Ever since, we have had soooooo many spiders and 1000 leggers in our house! We sprayed bug spray outside and in our garage, but the bugs are still here. I heard those Ridex things you plug into your wall help rid of all the bugs. Does anyone know if that works, or have you ever used it? If not, do you have any other suggestions on what we could do?
PLUG INS ARE USELESS!! Don't bother. Test after scientific test proves them scams. If you pay me $100 I'll tell you how good they are, though.
The mulch probably had the spiders or eggs in it. Vacuums are the best tools against inside spiders. Why poison yourself spraying all the poison inside the house for something that can be swatted or sucked up?
Outside, birds will eventually take care of the population. If you must use a chemical, keep to to the doors and windows.....and if present, outside vents. Diatomaceous earth.....horticultural grade, not swimming pool grade (that stuff will damage your lungs!!) can be sprinkled around doors, windows inside. A puffer, will puff it under the baseboards.
